About this event
New Town Stories: our neighbours from WW1 remembered
More than a century ago, the First World War reached into almost every home in New Town. Fathers, sons and brothers left these streets to serve, and the families they left behind carried on at home.
Join us at Hollyhock Café for an evening of local stories, remembering the people of New Town whose lives were changed by the war.
Saturday 21 November, 6.30pm
Hollyhock Café, Old Heath Recreation Ground, Recreation Road, Colchester CO1 2HE
This is a free event, but please book your ticket so we know how many to expect. We'll be collecting donations on the night for the Royal British Legion.
