About this event

A blend of alternative, post-grunge, and punk-infused energy, Cosmic Kitten is a band unafraid to dig deep into the raw emotionality of their sound. With intense performances and introspective lyrics, they have captured the hearts of fans who crave authenticity and powerful musical expression.

The San Pedro-based now quartet formed in 2016 and has become a collective force in the post-grunge, punk, and alternative rock scenes. Karen Marie on guitar and vocals takes listeners on an emotional journey, with vocals that range from soft, reflective tones to fierce, powerful screams, accompanied by fuzzy, bright guitar riffs. Zach Huckabee is a driving force behind the band’s high-energy sound, delivering precision and aggression on the drums that bring groove and intensity to every track. Jay Vesper offers dynamic, fluid basslines that anchor the music with precision, while John Chavez on rhythm guitar adds the heavy riffs that pummel the audience with raw power.

Creating a seamless blend of gritty 90s grunge and modern rock energy. They’ve released five full-length albums and have opened for legendary acts like Redd Kross, The Dickies, Alice Bag, Avengers,Vivian Girls and Mike Watt, self-booking tours across the US and UK.

Support comes from Tender Youth

Tender Youth is a young Copenhagen-based art-rock quartet that moves between the raw and the vulnerable. Rooted in post-punk and with a clear focus on new expressions, placing the violin at the centre, the band creates intense, immersive songs where energy and fragility go hand in hand.

Following an EP in 2021 and the critically acclaimed debut album In The Hands Of Broken Bonds (2023), Tender Youth have performed at festivals such as Roskilde Festival and SPOT Festival and completed a European tour with shows across several countries. This experience has shaped the otherwise young band into a focused and uncompromising live act, drawing audiences in to the intensity of the moment.

In 2026, Tender Youth will release their second album. The band has a band oned the guitar entirely, allowing the violin to take on a leading role. Punk urgency meets the emotional depth of folk music in a sound that blends hand-played instrumentation, distortion, and a more modern, pop-leaning production. The result is a bold artistic step and a band in clear and ongoing evolution.
