Booking Fees

Why Booking Fees Matter More Than Ever

Booking fees are a controversial topic. We all know now that major ticketing platforms tack on hidden charges at the point of purchase, sometimes making up 20% of the final price. These undisclosed fees leave your customers frustrated and feeling misled.

At Good Show, we take a different approach. We believe in transparent ticket pricing, ensuring that buyers know exactly what they’re paying and why, with no surprises at checkout.

The Booking Fee

Despite the bad press they receive, booking fees do exist for a reason. They provide the income and profit platforms need to cover basic operational costs and continue to reinvest in future developments. But Good Show is here to make booking fees a new tool for positive change.

Good Show is committed to securing the future of independent events, which is why our event organisers keep 50% of their booking fee, right from their first sale. Developed by grassroots event organisers Stuart and Adam, the Good Show team know firsthand how much work goes into every single ticket sale. Keeping a smaller share of the booking fee enables us to provide our customers with an additional revenue stream.

Adjustable Ticket Booking Fees: Flexibility That Works for You

When you create an event on Good Show, you’re in control. You can choose between a 10% 12% and 15% booking fee.

This flexibility allows you to manage larger event costs when, for example, booking touring acts which tend to involve higher production costs. By slightly increasing the booking fee, you could tip the balance between break-even and profitability.

Benefits of Transparent Pricing for Organisers

Here’s what sets Good Show apart:
